Most people simply work at a job. Artists make work with job money. This statement has resonated with me since I first read it in “Remote Control” by Barbara Kruger. The Noam Chomsky package is a whole lot of entertainment in a small box. The flash drive is loaded with an app that allows you access to a library of Chomsky literature as well as an archive of spoken word audio from his books and lectures. The collectable flash drive is still usable for everyday storage as well. Continue reading
After hearing a NPR segment on the topic of “the world’s ovarian lottery,” I was intrigued about the idea of luck, what role it plays in our lives and how we view it personally and socially. My identity embodies my thoughts on this topic as well as playing off other cultural perceptions and values surrounding luck, lottery, and fate. Continue reading
After the tsunami in Japan in March 2011, my business partner and I had some downtime and decided to make good use of it. We quickly developed LetsDesignHelp.org and graphics to distribute a limited series of t-shirts to benefit the relief effort. In the future the site will serve as a platform for future collaborative social projects. Continue reading
